Get fired up behind the flames at Scottsdale Firefighters Charities Dinner

Posted on: September 14th, 2012 by Taryn Jeffries No Comments

Firefighters and Dominick’s — two of my favorite things! On September 23rd, the 2012 Scottsdale Firefighters Charities Dinner will be held at Dominick’s Steakhouse in Scottsdale.

The annual dinner is a chance for Scottsdale to honor our men and women firefighters and raise money for local charities. Catherine Anaya, of CBS 5 News, will be hosting the event that will begin with a cocktail hour and silent auction at 5:00pm followed by a sit down dinner at 6:00pm provided by Dominick’s Steakhouse.

Dine among Scottsdale Firefighters, dignitaries, Scottsdale city leaders and local Valley residents. Keynote speakers will include Valley resident Fred Goldman and Craig Jackson of Barrett-Jackson.

“This is a great night for us to honor Scottsdale Firefighters for all the work they do throughout the year. It’s also a great opportunity for us to raise a ton of money for our local charities. Every dollar we raise this night will go right back into our community,” said Chad Masciotra, Charities Director of Local 3878.

Through your donation, the Scottsdale Firefighters Association can provide assistance to charities such as: MDA, Phoenix Epilepsy Foundation, Boys and Girls Club, American Cancer Society, Partners for Piute, Toys for Tots, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-day Walk.

Individual tickets for the evening are available for $150 or there are a variety of sponsorship packages for the Scottsdale Firefighter Charities Dinner. Seats are limited.

For more information on tickets or sponsorship, contact Chad Masciotra at Cmasciotra@iafflocal3878.org or call 480-510-6955. Send checks, payable to IAFF Local 3878, to 3370 N Hayden Rd. #123-521, Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
